We need revolutionary change, to decentralise power. The corporate system sucks wealth from all over the world and concentrates it, which destroys democracy and community, and has to grow forever, which destroys nature. There are no revolutionary parties to vote for, and governments are corporate. We can’t force change – they’re too strong – but we can cut off the source of their wealth, by providing things for ourselves in communities, building a commons economy as an alternative to corporations, a credit commons as an alternative to the banking system and a governance commons to support the commons economy.
